Welcome to Casa Sophia a delightful, traditional Spanish Village house. Set in a quiet, pedestrianised, cobbled lane within the charming Village of Torrox Pueblo. Torrox is one oldest villages along the Costa del Sol and was on the original Silk Route from East. With very easy access from Malaga Airport 45 minutes by car and just an hour by the express bus (about £3). The House is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends who love to feel they are enjoying Spain from the inside. Prices start from £225 per week or only £525 per month out of season. July & August £425p.w. Saturday - Saturday. May, June, September, October £325 per week or monthly is even cheaper. Please contact for further details. 1 small dog is welcome with an extra £150 deposit. The House is terraced and located in a quiet predominently Spanish neighbourhood. Comfortably funished for four adults with ceiling fans, Freeview TV, Fridge, Gas Cooker, Microwave, etc. There is a small sitting room, a downstairs bedroom with double bed, a separate kitchen, the dining room and a shower room WC and Washing machine within a little courtyard. On the first floor there is a twin bedded room and also a walk through room with a put you up bed for those extra guests. The terrace is large and sunny 3m x 6.5m and on the first floor next to the extra bedroom area. The village has mainly spanish shops bars, restaurants, banks, market, fishmarket , pharmacist, dentist and medical centre. Staying in the house gives you the opportunity to feel part of real Spain whilst the international community is big enough that you needn't feel isolated if you are unable to speak the language. The Main Plaza with its many delightful bars and restaurants is within just 5 mins easy stroll away. Likewise the bus route with a regular service clearly signed is just around the corner. Convenient for both main car parks and it is also possible to park in the little square just a little way from the Casa Sophia. The House is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area or just spend the day on the beach. With a large sunny terrace and 2/ 3 bedrooms the house is fully equipped for 2 - 5 people. Only 3 km from the sandy beaches of Torrox Costa and with a village pool nearby there is always somewhere to cool off, other than the little outside bars with parasol’s of course. Torrox Costa is only 4km from the Village. With a wonderful wide sandy, beach and a lovely old promenade with numerous restaurants and bars, stalls and shops to explore. Further along there is the wilder part with beachside traditional restaurants with the traditional delicacy of sardines barbequed on an open fire. Torrox has easy access to Malaga, Seville, Granada, Almeria, Cordoba, Alambra de Granada and numerous quaint villages in the mountains of the National Park of Axarquia. There is masses to do and see with numerous watersports available as well as horse riding, cycling, off roading etc. The Historical Cities of Granada, Malaga, Antequerra are all within an hours drive away. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are just over an hours journey. If you like clubbing just to along to the east end of the Torre del Mar sea front, there are numerous beach front restaurants and ice cream parlours too. The Axarquia National Park and the Sierra Nevada Mountains are wonderful places to explore and offer numerous out door activities are available such as horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, off roading etc. The wine Route is great to explore and the numerous White Villages are a delight with their own crafts and vino and tapas to seek out and sample
