Our house has some of the best views to be had in all of Mojacar Playa from both bedrooms, the kitchen or from the very private balcony. Our house sleeps up to 4 people comfortably and we have a long 6 foot double bed with a "Tempur" mattress and 2 single beds. Our house is secluded, and can be found situated at the end of a cul-de-sac so we have no through traffic. We have a toilet and sink downstairs so you don't have to keep climbing the stairs. There are no stairs (only 2 steps) to negotiate to get to our house from the car park. You simply park your car (where there is always space) and walk past the pool to the house. About 40 paces. The balcony is very private, as you can see from the photos, with no one able to look down on you and with a retired couple next doo. Its perfect for private sunbathing or to eat lunch/dinner/breakfast while enjoying the stunning views. From our balcony you have breathtaking scenery day or night. It is lovely to sit on the balcony at night with a glass of wine and listen to the sea. With the windows open at night all you can hear is the sea on the shore. The main beach 5 minutes walk from the house is vast, clean, sandy (ideal for kids) with bars/restaurants, some on the beach, not over looked by buildings. They are not as crowded as you see in the resorts. If it was we would move elsewhere. You will always be able to find a place to sunbath, even in the heat of Summer. For the odd chilly evening during winter we have a new calor gas heater. We also have games and novels for the times you choose to spend at home. If you do take a novel please replace it with one of a similar nature for other guests. Mojacar is for the more discerning of people, for those who want a more peaceful holiday away from the large ugly high-rise resorts. It is a quiet place with no bustling crowds or huge amounts of vehicles like Alicante, Benedorm, Torrevieja, Malaga, Fuengirola or Torremolinos. If this is your style, Mojacar is certainly not for you. The majority of English bars are at the right hand end of the playa (7/8 of them) as you face the sea, but most of the bars/restaurants along the main road opposite the sea and on the beach are Spanish and most speak English. The pool, which is just outside our front door, is always clean and clear and very very handy to jump into on those so hot nights - so long as you dont disturb the neighbours. Mojacar has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in Spain with oranges, lemons, pomegranates, prickly pears, rosemary, almonds, olives and thyme all growing wild. A lovely tranquil place, especially at Easter and Christmas, when the village and the Playa is virtually tourist free, apart from the Spanish who tend to come this time of year, but it can still be warm enough to get a suntan. Come and see for yourself and you will be back time after time. If, after you book, you change your mind; we promise to return your deposit if we are able to re-sell the dates you booked.
